In this article you will learn how to create work orders in MyGeotab.
1. On the left hand side of the screen, click on maintenance
2. Click on work order management
** Work requests come forma variety of sources such as:
- Maintenance schedules
- Data insights (predictive)
- Defects (manual creation) **
3. You can apply filters to find the desired work requests
4. customize your table view with the display options for a focused workflow
5. Click the items you wish to see on the table
6. Quickly sort your work orders by severity to tackle the most urgent tasks first
7. Select the work request to create a work order for
8. The skip option prompts you for a reason to skip this maintenance
9. The snooze option removes this work request and asks if you would like the work request to come back i 1, 7, or 30 days
10. Click on the + work order
11. The reference serves as the name for the work order
12. You can set a due date to control when the work order becomes overdue
13. You can set a date completed for any date in the past or up to 2 months in the future
** if you set a completion date, the work order will automatically calculate the odometer reading and engine hours reading
14. Select the status for the work order
15. Select the priority
16. Using the complete button automatically finishes the work order and associated jobs with todays date and your user information
17. Assign a user to the work order
18. select the zone where the work order will be completed at
19. select a reason for the work order
20. Select a repair class
21. Review the jobs attached to this work order
22. Add any relevant notes or files
23. Click save
